Azuka Onyia is a seasoned executive with 30+ years of experience in both private and public sectors. Her experience cuts across various industries including information technology,  public accounting with two of the Big Four Accounting Firms, oil and gas manufacturing, power, mining, real estate, aviation, e-commerce, and financial services. Her core skills include strategy formulation and execution, negotiations, risk and compliance, financial analysis and fund raising.

Onyia began her career at the Lagos, Nigeria office of Arthur Andersen (now KPMG). She then moved to the United States where she worked with the downtown Los Angeles office of Deloitte & Touche. She left public accounting in 2000 and moved to private sector roles in Fortune 100 companies. Returning to Nigeria in 2010, she has led finance teams in both public and private organizations.

She holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and a master’s degree in business administration from the Andersen School of Business, University of California in Los Angeles. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in the State of California and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. Onyia serves on multiple boards, providing strategic guidance and financial discipline.
